ADC Asia Congress is one of the premier industry conferences in the Asia-Pacific region focused on advances in ADC research and development. The 2026 meeting brought together more than 300 experts and decision-makers from biopharmaceutical companies, CDMOs, academic institutions, and research organizations in Asia and globally to discuss ADC development strategies, manufacturing technologies, and clinical development trends.

During the “Next-Generation ADC Design” session on the first day of the conference, Dr. David Huang presented “Precision in ADC Design: Dual-Payload Conjugates with Tunable DAR Ratios Enabled by GlycOBI®,” introducing the application of OBI’s GlycOBI® glycan-conjugation technologies in ADC design. The technologies enable site-specific conjugation at defined glycan sites on antibodies, allowing predictable and consistent antibody–drug conjugation and flexible control of the drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR) to optimize ADC stability and pharmacokinetic performance. The presentation also showcased the potential of GlycOBI® technology advances in dual-payload ADC design, leveraging proprietary enzyme technologies and linker design to enable the installation of different payloads on the same antibody with controlled ratios and conjugation sites to generate dual-payload ADCs with defined DAR, providing potential strategies to address challenges such as tumor heterogeneity and treatment resistance encountered in conventional ADC design.
