Identification of the stakeholders and major news is the core of corporate social responsibility. In reference to the Stakeholder Standards, AA1000SES, OBI’s major stakeholders, based on its dependency, responsibility, influence, multiple views, attention to tension and other characteristics, are shareholders/investors, government agencies, suppliers, employees, financial institutions, news media, medical institutions, public associations, and research institutions.
Based on the principles of completeness, responsiveness and inclusiveness, the Corporate Social Responsibility Project team has identified 17 categories including post clinical development, innovation in product development, clinical trial patient protection, clinical regulatory compliance, intellectual property protection, operation integrity, health and safety of the customers, information transparency, monitor of product and services violating social and economic regulations, customer confidentiality, product marketing and labeling, economic performance, regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, responsibility of the Board of Directors, employee-employer relationship, and training and education.
